Spend an afternoon hiking the breathtaking Blue Hill Peninsula and Blue Hill Mountain. Relax with a book or do some journal writing in the hammocks by the pond.Or enjoy some cozy time in front of the fireplace.

Joanne LaCarrubba Steenberg is the founder of Positive Raw Power. Providing people with the motivation and tools to create a positive mind, Joanne is a passionate raw food instuctor and helps her students tap into their innate joy and vibrant health. She loves to demonstrate how easily raw food can be introduced into daily life. She has experienced the "raw food transformation" herself and has witnessed countless other transformations. The Retreat House
Dragonfly Cove Retreat House is situated on the edge of one of the most peaceful ponds in Downeast Maine. Shared with loons, herons, bald eagles and jumping wide mouth bass, Pierces Pond is pristine and untouched. Imagine leaving your stress behind and immersing yourself in nature where you can truly rejuvenate your spirit. Imagine being lulled to sleep by the call of the loons; gazing at a sunset as it is reflected on the smooth surface of the pond; relaxing with a book or journal in one of our fabulous woven hammocks; or sitting around the bonfire and enjoying the most spectacular star gazing! Imagine practicing a gentle heart-based yoga, taking a long hike up a nearby coastal mountain, or wandering along the 20 acres of wooded nature trails surrounding the home. Hop in a kayak for a relaxing paddle or take a dip in the pond. There is so much to do — or not do. Simply enjoy the abundance of peace and tranquility for deep, healing relaxation.
